If you require on-site assistance from your local System Integrator, you can find their contact information by clicking on your name in the top right corner, and selecting "Admin Console" from the drop down menu.

However, with our streamlined interface and automatic device discovery, you can choose to do it yourself. And we're here to walk you through it! Once the camera and device hardware has been setup, you're ready to start.

To initiate the installation flow, click on the "Assignments" tab. You should see a list of Accounts. The Account should have a link that says "Ready for Setup" next to it. Click on this link to get started and follow along with the steps below.

Installation Flow

1. Assign Gateway to Yourself

You will need to enter the media access control (MAC) address or serial number of the device which contains your gateway. You can also name the gateway, here.

2. Discover Cameras

Our interface will automatically identify cameras nearby that can be assigned to this gateway. Here you can adjust the quality, resolution, and FPS, as well as assign a name to the camera (e.g. Parking Lot 1, East Wall, etc.).

3. Set Motion Detection

Next, we will control the motion detection settings. Here, you can choose areas of the image where you do not want to detect motion. For instance, if a tree is covering one corner of the camera, and you live in the windy city of Chicago, you may not want the camera's motion detection to be triggered by the waving branch all the time. Select the grid spaces which you would like to reduce detection strength.Β

4. Schedule Recording

Here you can defined schedules for recording. For each hour of the day, you can assign one of three recording options: continuous, on motion, and do not record. Here, you can also set how long you want to record before and after motion detection. Thus, if an event triggers recording, you would be able to see three seconds before the event starts and three seconds after the event ends if you chose three seconds.

5. Test Recordings

Finally, test to make sure that all the settings selected are working correctly.
